Why Pray?

"God gives us some things, as the beginning of faith, even when we do not pray. Other things, such as perseverance, He has only provided for those who pray."
~St Augustine

  1. thank you very much Marianna for keeping us posted and up to date on the Papal election. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you very, very much for all your hard work. I appreciate, and I am completly grateful to you for your Catholic(read; TRADITIONAL)blog. I cannot begin to tell you how much I am learning about my Catholic faith from your blog. I am what you call a cradle Catholic, and I am truly blown away by our Catholic faith. It never ceases to amaze me. Since discovering the traditional latin mass, I will NEVER attend the Novus ordo again. EVER. Thanks to traditionalists such as yourself, us 'cradle' Catholics have a chance of wading through the murky waters of secularism, and seeing it as the monster it really is. Peace to you and your family.

  2. Dear Virginia:

You could not have bestowed another human being a greater compliment than to say that her little work is helping you learn about our Catholic Faith. My deepest thanks to you for your kindness. Please remember me in your prayers, and I shall do the same for you.

May God bless you and yours always!
    Marianna
